When things get heavy and you start to doubt yourself, it helps to talk to someone who's been through it.
Let's talk →
The inbox that never empties. The decision you announced, then went back on a week later. The investor that won't leave you alone. The person on your team who's become a problem that everyone's avoiding. The 3am thoughts that always show up uninvited.
These are the moments that shape what comes next, whether you handle them well or not.
I helped build a company from day one through nearly a decade of growth, a pandemic that took us from $100M in revenue back to nearly zero, a rebuild, and eventually an acquisition. What that gave me, more than anything, was instinct — the kind you only develop by being inside something that intense for that long.
The work I do isn't therapy or consulting. A therapist won't tell you your strategy is broken. A consultant won't tell you that you're the problem. A board member is watching their investment, and a peer won't give you the hard truth. I'll tell you all of it, and I'll do it in a way that's actually useful.
I do this because it's what I've always wanted to do, even when I couldn't articulate it. I studied psychology thinking that's where I was headed, then realized the clinical route wasn't for me. After a decade building a business, this is what I get to do full time.
If you've watched Billions, Wendy Rhoades is probably the closest shorthand for what I do — minus the hedge fund and extracurricular activities.
More about me →At a certain level, most damage is self-inflicted. My job is to help you see it before it compounds.
Every engagement includes written summaries, frameworks, and action items so the work doesn't live only in the room.
When the business is moving fast and you need someone inside it with you.
I parachute into your company, talk to the key people, and build an accurate picture of what's actually going on — with the business and with the team. I present you with the unvarnished truth, then work with you and your leadership to address what's there and build something that lasts after I'm gone.
When you've outgrown how you used to operate and need to level up without slowing down.
A place to be open and honest about what's not working. We uncover the blind spots and patterns you weren't aware of, and build the tools and confidence to address them practically — in real situations, not hypotheticals. The goal is for you to leave ready to take things on without me.
When you're facing a decision or inflection point that deserves more than a hallway conversation.
Focused, tactical work on a specific business challenge or inflection point. We meet regularly, work through the problem systematically, and you leave each session with clear next steps. You and your team do the work — I'm invested and involved at each step, helping you solve problems, avoid common mistakes, and build better instincts along the way.
The best time to work with someone like me isn't when you're in crisis. Crisis is late. Better is when you've got a big call ahead and don't want to blow it. When you're staring at a hire, a market shift, or a team dynamic that's about to matter more than it has. When the business is evolving faster than the people running it. Most of what I help with is easier to get ahead of than to clean up.
I have a bias toward action, not just talk. By the time we're done, you'll have:
More than that, you'll operate differently. Faster decisions, fewer loops, and more confidence in the moments that matter most.

"Tal helped me zoom out of operator tunnel vision and see why I was solving the same fires over and over, even though I thought I was moving fast."
"Tal helped me break a pattern of avoidance with a few key people on my team that had been holding us back. I now give feedback clearly and confidently, without losing sleep beforehand."
